أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عِيسَى وَهُوَ ابْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُجْزِئُ صَلَاةٌ لَا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ فِيهَا صُلْبَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami ['Ali bin Khasyram Al Marwazi] dia berkata; telah memberitakan kepada kami ['Isa bin Yunus] dari [Al A'masy] dari ['Umarah] dari [Abu Ma'mar] dari [Abu Mas'ud] dia berkata; Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Shalat seseorang tidak sah bila tulang rusuk (punggung) nya tidak tegak (thuma 'ninah) saat ruku' dan sujud."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
