أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ زَنْجُوَيْهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ أَنَّ حُمَيْدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ السَّائِبَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْعَلَاءَ بْنَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ يَقُولُقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْكُثُ الْمُهَاجِرُ بَعْدَ قَضَاءِ نُسُكِهِ ثَلَاثًا
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Muhammad bin 'Abdul Malik bin Zanjuwaih] dari ['Abdurrazzaq] dari [Ibnu Juraij] dia berkata; telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Isma'il bin Muhammad bin Sa'ad] telah mengabarkan kepadanya [Humaid bin 'Abdurrahman] telah mengabarkan kepadanya [As Saib bin Yazid] bahwasa ia mendengar [Al 'Ala bin Al Hadhrami] berkata; Rasulullah bersabda: "Orang yang hijrah menetap (di Makkah) selama tiga hari setelah selesai melaksanakan ibadah haji."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
