أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنْ اللَّيْلِ إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً يُوتِرُ مِنْهَا بِوَاحِدَةٍ ثُمَّ يَضْطَجِعُ عَلَى شِقِّهِ الْأَيْمَنِ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ishaq bin Manshur] dia berkata; telah memberitakan kepada kami ['Abdurrahman] dia berkata; [Malik] dari [Az Zuhri] dari ['Urwah] dari ['Aisyah] Bahwa Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam shalat malam sebelas rakaat, dengan shalat witir satu rakaat. kemudian berbaring miring ke sebelah kanan.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
