أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكَلَ كَتِفًا فَجَاءَهُ بِلَالٌ فَخَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna] dia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya] dari [Ja'far bin Muhammad] dari [Bapaknya] dari [Ali bin Husain] dari [Zainab bin Ummu Salamah] dari [Ummu Salamah] bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pernah makan daging bagian paha, lalu datang Bilal, kemudian beliau keluar untuk shalat dan beliau tidak berwudlu lagi.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
