قَالَ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ سَمِعَ عَمْرٌو جَابِرًا يَقُولُأَتَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أُبَيٍّ بَعْدَ مَا أُدْخِلَ فِي قَبْرِهِ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ فَأُخْرِجَ فَوَضَعَهُ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَنَفَثَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ رِيقِهِ وَأَلْبَسَهُ قَمِيصَهُ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ
English Translation
Berkata [Al Harits bin Miskin] secara baca, dan aku mendengarnya dari [Sufyan] dia berkata; ['Amru] mendengar dari [Jabir] dia berkata; "Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam mendatangi kuburan Abdullah bin Ubai, setelah ia dimasukkan ke dalam kuburannya, lalu beliau memerintahkan untuk dikeluarkan, dan beliau meletakkannya di atas lutut beliau, lalu beliau meniup sedikit air liur padanya dan memakaikan baju beliau." Wallahu A'lam.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
