أَخْبَرَنِي شُعَيْبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ إِسْحَقَ وَصَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْحِمْصِيُّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَزَوَّجَ مَيْمُونَةَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ
English Translation
Telah memberitakan kepadaku [Syu'aib bin Syu'aib bin Ishaq] serta [Shafwan bin 'Amr Al Hilshi], keduanya berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Al Mughirah], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Auza'i] dari ['Atho` bin Abu Rabbah] dari [Ibnu Abbas] bahwa Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam menikahi Maimunah dalam keadaan berihram.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
