أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَجْتَمِعَانِ فِي النَّارِ مُسْلِمٌ قَتَلَ كَافِرًا ثُمَّ سَدَّدَ وَقَارَبَ وَلَا يَجْتَمِعَانِ فِي جَوْفِ مُؤْمِنٍ غُبَارٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَفَيْحُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَا يَجْتَمِعَانِ فِي قَلْبِ عَبْدٍ الْإِيمَانُ وَالْحَسَدُ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Isa bin Hammad], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Laits] dari [Ibnu 'Ajlan] dari [Suhail bin Abu Shaleh] dari [ayahnya] dari [Abu Hurairah] bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Tidak akan berkumpul di neraka, seorang muslim yang membunuh orang kafir kemudian bersikap istiqamah dan berlaku sederhana, dan tidak akan berkumpul dalam diri orang yang beriman, debu di jalan Allah dan panasnya Jahannam, dan tidak akan berkumpul di hati seorang hamba, keimanan dan rasa dengki.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
