أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَأَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَبُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي جُحْرٍقَالُوا لِقَتَادَةَ وَمَا يُكْرَهُ مِنْ الْبَوْلِ فِي الْجُحْرِ قَالَ يُقَالُ إِنَّهَا مَسَاكِنُ الْجِنِّ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami ['Ubaidillah bin Sa'id] dia berkata; telah memberitakan kepada kami [Mu'adz bin Hisyam] berkata; [ayahku] telah menceritakan kepadaku dari [Qatadah] dari [Abdullah bin Sarjis] bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: " Jangan sekali-kali salah seorang diantara kalian buang air kecil di lubang." Mereka bertanya kepada Qatadah, kenapa dilarang buang air kecil di lubang? dia menjawab; ada berita itu tempat tinggal jin.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
