أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ وَاصِلِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْوَضَعَتْ سُبَيْعَةُ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ زَوْجِهَا بِأَيَّامٍ فَأَمَرَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تَزَوَّجَ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Abdul A'la bin Washil bin Abdul A'la] berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Adam] dari [Sufyan] dari [Yahya bin Sa'id] dari [Sulaiman bin Yasar] dari [Kuraib] dari [Ummu Salamah] dan [Muhammad bin 'Amru] dari [Abu Salamah] ia berkata, "Subai'ah melahirkan beberapa hari setelah suaminya meninggal, kemudian Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam memerintahkannya agar menikah."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
