أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْوَزِيرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ عَنْ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِمَاسَةَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كَفَّارَةُ النَّذْرِ كَفَّارَةُ الْيَمِينِ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ahmad bin Yahya bin Al Wazir bin Sulaiman] dan [Al Harits bin Miskin] dengan membacakan riwayat, dan aku mendengar dari [Ibnu Wahb] berkata; telah mengabarkan kepadaku ['Amru bin Al Harits] dari [Ka'b bin 'Alqamah] dari ['Abdurrahman bin Syimasah] dari ['Alqamah bin 'Amir], bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Kafarah nadzar adalah kafarah sumpah."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
