أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَظْلَمَتِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌقَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ حَدِيثُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ خَطَأٌ وَالصَّوَابُ حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdurrahman], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan] dari ['Alqamah] dari [Abu Ja'far], ia berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: " Barangsiapa yang terbunuh mempertahankan sesuatu yang dizhalimi darinya maka ia adalah syahid, " Abu abdurrahman berkata hadits Al Muammal salah dan yang benar adalah hadits Abdurrahman.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
