أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قِتَالُ الْمُسْلِمِ كُفْرٌ وَسِبَابُهُ فُسُوقٌ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ishaq bin Ibrahim], ia berkata; telah memberitakan kepada kami [Abdur Razzaq], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ma'mar] dari [Abu Ishaq] dari [Umar bin Sa'd], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sa'd bin Abu Waqqash] bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Membunuh orang muslim adalah kekafiran dan mencelanya adalah kefasikan."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
