أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ إِسْمَعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كُلُّ ذِي نَابَ مِنْ السِّبَاعِ فَأَكْلُهُ حَرَامٌ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ishaq bin Manshur], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdurrahman], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Malik] dari [Isma'il bin Abu Hakim] dari ['Ubaidah bin Sufyan] dari [Abu Hurairah] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau bersabda: "Semua yang memiliki taring dari binatan buas haram dimakan."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
