حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْحَفَرِيُّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ مَا يُبَالِي الرَّجُلُ مِنْ أَيْنَ أَصَابَ الْمَالَ مِنْ حَلَالٍ أَوْ حَرَامٍ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Al Qasim bin Zakariya bin Dinar], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Daud Al Hafari] dari [Sufyan] dari [Muhammad bin Abdurrahman] dari [Al Maqburi] dari [Abu Hurairah], ia berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Akan datang kepada manusia suatu zaman dimana seseorang tidak peduli darimana ia mendapatkan harta, dari yang halal atau yang haram."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
