أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَنُهِينَا أَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Abdul A'la], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Khalid], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu 'Aun] dari [Muhammad] dari [Anas], ia berkata; kita dilarang orang yang tinggal di kota menjualkan untuk orang yang tinggal di pelosok.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
