أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي أُسَامَةَ أَحَدَّثَكُمْ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ تَلَقِّي الْجَلْبِ حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ بِهَا السُّوقَ فَأَقَرَّ بِهِ أَبُو أُسَامَةَ وَقَالَ نَعَمْ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ishaq bin Ibrahim], ia berkata; saya berkata kepada [Abu Usamah]; apakah ['Ubaidullah] menceritakan kepadamu dari [Nafi'] dari [Ibnu Umar], Ia berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarang dari menyambut orang yang membawa dagangan sebelum masuk pasar hingga ia masuk pasar. Kemudian Abu Usamah mengakui dan mengatakan; ya.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
