قَالَ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ عَنْ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي خَارِجَةُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا بِالتَّمْرِ وَالرُّطَبِ
English Translation
Telah berkata [Al Harits bin Miskin] dengan membacakan riwayat, dan saya mendengar, dari [Ibnu Wahb], ia berkata; telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Yunus] dari [Ibnu Syihab], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepadaku [Kharijah bin Zaid bin Tsabit] dari [ayahnya] bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam memberikan keringanan dalam hal membeli pohon kurma dengan buah kurma atau ruthab.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
