أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْمَكِّيِّ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُالدِّينَارُ بِالدِّينَارِ وَالدِّرْهَمُ بِالدِّرْهَمِ لَا فَضْلَ بَيْنَهُمَا هَذَا عَهْدُ نَبِيِّنَا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَيْنَا
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Qutaibah bin Sa'id] dari [Malik] dari [Humaid bin Qais Al Makki] dari [Mujahid], ia berkata; [Umar] berkata; dinar dengan dinar, dirham dengan dirham tidak boleh ada kelebihan diantara keduanya. Hal ini adalah janji Nabi kita kepada kita.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
