أَخْبَرَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ شِرْكًا لَهُ فِي عَبْدٍ أُتِمَّ مَا بَقِيَ فِي مَالِهِ إِنْ كَانَ لَهُ مَالٌ يَبْلُغُ ثَمَنَ الْعَبْدِ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Nuh bin Habib] telah memberitakan kepada kami [Abdur Razzaq] telah memberitakan kepada kami [Ma'mar] dari [Az Zuhri] dari [Salim] dari [ayahnya] bahwa Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Barang siapa yang memerdekakan bagiannya pada seorang budak maka bagian yang tersisa dari hartanya akan disempurnakan apabila dia memiliki harta yang mencapai harga budak tersebut."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
