أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ وَابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ وَهُوَ مُسْنِدٌ ظَهْرَهُ إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ الْأَصَابِعُ سَوَاءٌ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Abdullah bin Al Haitsam] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hajjaj] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammam] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Husain Al Mu'allim] dan [Ibnu Juraij] dari ['Amru bin Syu'aib] dari [ayahnya] dari [kakeknya] bahwa Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda dalam khutbahnya seraya menyandarkan punggungnya ke ka'bah: "Jari-jari adalah sama."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
