أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ مَخْلَدٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍعَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَيْسَ عَلَى خَائِنٍ وَلَا مُنْتَهِبٍ وَلَا مُخْتَلِسٍ قَطْعٌلَمْ يَسْمَعْهُ سُفْيَانُ مِنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ
English Translation
Telah mengkhabarkan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Abdush Shamad bin Ali] dari [Makhlad] dari [Sufyan] dari [Abu Az Zubair] dari [Jabir] dari Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau bersabda: "Tidak ada pemotongan tangan pada orang yahg berkhianat, merampas dan menggelapkan harta." Sufyan belum mendengar dari Abu Az Zubair.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
