أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَبْرٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ حُبُّ الْأَنْصَارِ آيَةُ الْإِيمَانِ وَبُغْضُ الْأَنْصَارِ آيَةُ النِّفَاقِ
English Translation
Telah mengkhabarkan kepada kami [Isma'il bin Mas'ud], dia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Khalid yaitu Ibnu Al Harits] dari [Syu'bah] dari [Abdullah bin Abdullah bin Jabr] dari [Anas] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau bersabda: "Mencintai orang-orang Anshar adalah tanda keimanan dan membenci orang-orang Anshar adalah tanda kemunafikan."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
