أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ عَنْ بِشْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَمْسٌ مِنْ الْفِطْرَةِ الْخِتَانُ وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ وَنَتْفُ الضَّبْعِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الظُّفْرِ وَتَقْصِيرُ الشَّارِبِوَقَفَهُ مَالِكٌ
English Translation
Telah mengkhabarkan kepada kami [Humaid bin Mas'adah] dari [Bisyr], dia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdur Rahman bin Ishaq] dari [Sa'id Al Maqburi] dari [Abu Hurairah], dia berkata; "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Lima perkara termasuk dari fithrah yaitu; khitan, mencukur bulu kemaluan, mencabut bulu ketiak, memotong kuku, memendekkan kumis." Hadits tersebut diwaqafkan oleh Malik.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
