أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الْحَلَبِيُّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَفَعَهُ أَنَّهُ قَالَقَوْمٌ يَخْضِبُونَ بِهَذَا السَّوَادِ آخِرَ الزَّمَانِ كَحَوَاصِلِ الْحَمَامِ لَا يَرِيحُونَ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ
English Translation
Telah mengkhabarkan kepada kami [Abdur Rahman bin 'Ubaidullah Al Halabi] dari ['Ubaidullah yaitu Ibnu Amr] dari [Abdul Karim] dari [Sa'id bin Jubair] dari [Ibnu Abbas], dan dia memarfu'kannya bahwa dia berkata; "Akan ada suatu kaum yang menyemir rambut dengan warna hitam pada akhir zaman seperti paruh-paruh burung merpati, mereka tidak akan mencium baunya Surga."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
