أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ وَالشَّمْسُ فِي حُجْرَتِهَا لَمْ يَظْهَرْ الْفَيْءُ مِنْ حُجْرَتِهَا
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Qutaibah] dia berkata; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Laits] dari [Ibnu Syihab] dari [Urwah] dari [Aisyah] Radliyallahu'anha Bahwa Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam mengerjakan shalat Ashar ketika sinar matahari masih ada di dalam kamarnya dan bayangan belum nampak dari kamarnya.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
