أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الْمَعْنِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ اللَّيْثِيُّ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ عَلَى عِمْرَانَ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَنَا قَالَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ وَعَنْ التَّخَتُّمِ بِالذَّهَبِ وَعَنْ الشُّرْبِ فِي الْحَنَاتِمِ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Yunus bin Hammad Al Ma'ni Al Bashri] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdul Warits] dari [Abu At Tayyah] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hafsh Al Laitsi] ia berkata; Aku bersaksi atas [Imran] bahwa ia menceritakan kepada kami, ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarang dari memakai kain sutera, memakai cincin emas dan minum dengan menggunakan Al Hantam."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
