أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ الْبَحْرَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَتَخَتَّمُ بِيَمِينِهِ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Ma'mar Al Bahrani] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Habban bin Bilal] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammad bin Salamah] dari [Ibnu Abu Rafi'] dari [Abdullah bin Ja'far] berkata, "Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam memakai cincin di tangan kanannya."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
