أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ غَزْوَانَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ خُلَيْدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ وَالْمُسْتَمِرُ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَذَكَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ امْرَأَةً حَشَتْ خَاتَمَهَا بِالْمِسْكِ فَقَالَ وَهُوَ أَطْيَبُ الطِّيبِ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Ishaq] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Abdurrahman bin Ghazwan] ia berkata; telah memberitakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari [Khulaid bin Ja'far] dan [Al Mustamir] dari [Abu Nadlrah] dari [Abu Sa'id] ia berkata, "Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam menyebutkan seorang wanita yang mengolesi cincinnya dengan misik (minyak wangi), beliau lalu bersabda: "Itu adalah minyak yang paling wangi."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
