أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ بَقِيَّةَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّبَيْدِيُّ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَنِيأَنَّهُ رَأَى عَلَى أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بُرْدَ سِيَرَاءَ وَالسِّيَرَاءُ الْمُضَلَّعُ بِالْقَزِّ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Amru bin Utsman] dari [Baqiyyah] ia berkata, telah menceritakan kepadaku [Az Zubaidi] dari [Az Zuhri] dari [Anas bin Malik], ia menceritakan kepadaku, bahwa Ummu Kultsum puteri Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam memakai selimut yang bersulam sutera."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
