أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنْ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَافَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ يَسْتَلِمُ الرُّكْنَ بِمِحْجَنٍ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Sulaiman bin Daud] dari [Ibnu Wahab] dia berkata; Telah mengabarkan kepadakku [Yunus] dari [Ibnu Syihab] dari [Ubaidillah bin Abdullah] dari [lbnu Abbas], bahwa Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam thawaf saat haji Wada' di atas untanya. Beliau mengistilami pojok Ka'bah dengan tongkat.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
