أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ فَصَلَّى بِالَّذِينَ خَلْفَهُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبِالَّذِينَ جَاءُوا رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَكَانَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْبَعًا وَلِهَؤُلَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami ['Amr bin 'Ali] dia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya] dari [Asy'ats] dari [Al Hasan] dari [Abu Bakar] dari Rasulullah Shallallahu'alihiwasallam bahwa ia pernah shalat Khauf (shalat saat perang). Beliau shalat dengan -jamaah- yang di belakangnya dua rakaat dan shalat dengan -jamaah- yang datang kemudian dua rakaat. Nabi Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam shalat empat rakaat sedangkan para jamaahnya shalat dua rakaat.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
