أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَوَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَسَجَدْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ وَاقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ishaq bin Ibrahim] dia berkata; telah memberitakan kepada kami [Syufyan] dari [Ayub bin Musa] dari ['Atha bin Mina] dari [Abu Hurairah]. Dan (menurut jalur periwayatan yang lain) [Waqi'i] dari [Sufyan] dari [Ayyub bin Musa] dari ['Atha bin Mina] dari [Abu Hurairah] dia berkata; "Kami pernah sujud bersama Rasulullah Shallallallahu'alaihi wasallam pada surat Idzas-samaaun syaqqat -surat al-insyiqaq- dan Iqra' bismi rabbika- surat al'alaq-."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
