حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيَّرَ أَعْرَابِيَّا بَعْدَ الْبَيْعِوَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Umar bin Hafsh Asy Syaibani] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Wahb] dari [Ibnu Juraij] dari [Az Zubair] dari [Jabir] bahwa Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam memberikan hak memilih kepada seorang arab badui setelah jual beli. Hadits ini hasan gharib.

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
