حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْكِنْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَئِنْ عِشْتُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَأُخْرِجَنَّ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى مِنْ جَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Musa bin 'Abdurrahman Al Kindi] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Zaid Ibnul Hubab] berkata, telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Sufyan Ats Tsauri] dari [Abu Az Zubair] dari [Jabir] dari [Umar Ibnul Khaththab] bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Jika aku masih hidup, sungguh -dengan izin Allah- aku akan keluarkan orang-orang Yahudi dan Nashrani dari Jazirah Arab."

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
