حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْكَانَ أَحَبُّ الشَّرَابِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْحُلْوَ الْبَارِدَقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَكَذَا رَوَى غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ مِثْلَ هَذَا عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَالصَّحِيحُ مَا رُوِيَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْسَلًا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Abu Umar], telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan bin Uyainah] dari [Ma'mar] dari [Zuhri] dari [Urwah] dari [Aisyah] ia berkata; Sesungguhnya minuman yang paling disukai oleh Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam adalah Al Hulwa Al Barid (manisan yang dingin). Abu Isa berkata; Beginilah yang diriwayatkan oleh lebih dari satu Rawi dari Az Zuhri dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam secara mursal.

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
