حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ وَنَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَاطِعٌقَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ يَعْنِي قَاطِعَ رَحِمٍ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Abu Umar] dan [Nashr bin Ali] dan [Sa'id bin Abdurrahman] mereka berkata, Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan] dari [Az Zuhri] dari [Muhammad bin Jubair bin Muth'im] dari [bapaknya] ia berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Tidak akan masuk surga seorang yang memutus (silaturrahim)." Ibnu Abu Umar berkata; Sufyan berkata, "Yaitu pemutus silaturrrahmi." Abu Isa berkata; Ini adalah hadits hasan shahih.

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
