حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ فَرْقَدٍ السَّبَخِيِّ عَنْ مُرَّةَ الطَّيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ خِبٌّ وَلَا مَنَّانٌ وَلَا بَخِيلٌقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ahmad bin Mani'], telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yazid bin Harun], telah menceritakan kepada kami [Shadaqah bin Musa] dari [Farqad As Sabakhi] dari [Murrah Ath Thayyib] dari [Abu Bakr Ash Shiddiq] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau bersabda: "Tidak akan masuk surga yaitu Khibbun (penipu dan selalu membuat kerusakan di tengah manusia) dan Al Mannan (seorang yang membangga-banggakan kebaikannya)." Abu Isa berkata; Ini adalah hadits hasan gharib.

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
