حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُونُسَ الْكُوفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ عَنْ الْجَرِيرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ الْجَانِّ وَعَيْنِ الْإِنْسَانِ حَتَّى نَزَلَتْ الْمُعَوِّذَتَانِ فَلَمَّا نَزَلَتَا أَخَذَ بِهِمَا وَتَرَكَ مَا سِوَاهُمَاقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hisyam bin Yunus Al Kufi], telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Qasim bin Malik Al Mazani] dari [Al Jariri] dari [Abu Nadlrah] dari [Abu Sa'id] ia berkata; Dahulu Rasulullah Shallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam sering berlindung dari kejahatan jin dan 'Ain manusia hingga turun Al Mu'awwidzatain, maka setelah keduanya turun beliau membacanya dan meninggalkan selainnya. Berkata Abu Isa; Hadits semakna juga diriwayatkan dari Anas dan ini merupakan hadits hasan gharib.

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
