حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُوَقَّرِيُّ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْمَرِيضِ إِذَا بَرَأَ وَصَحَّ كَالْبَرْدَةِ تَقَعُ مِنْ السَّمَاءِ فِي صَفَائِهَا وَلَوْنِهَا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Ali bin Hujr] dia berkata; telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Al Walid bin Muhammad Al Muwaqqiri] dari [Az Zuhri] dari [Anas bin Malik] dia berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Perumpamaan seorang yang sembuh dan kembali sehat seperti salju yang turun dari langit tatkala langit sedang cerah."

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
