حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسٌ الدُّورِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ شَيْبَانَ عَنْ فِرَاسٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ شَجَرَةٌ يَسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ فِي ظِلِّهَا مِائَةَ عَامٍ لَا يَقْطَعُهَا وَقَالَ ذَلِكَ الظِّلُّ الْمَمْدُودُقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مَنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abbas Ad Duri] telah bercerita kepada kami [Ubaidullah bin Musa] dari [Syaiban] dari [Firas] dari ['Athiyyah] dari [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] dari Nabi Shallallahu 'alaihi wa Salam beliau bersabda: "Di dalam syurga ada pohon (yang panjangnya sejauh) seorang pengendara berjalan di bawah naungannya selama seratus tahun dan tidak bisa menyelesaikannya, " dan beliau berkata: Itulah maksud naungan yang terbentang luas." Abu Isa berkata: Hadits ini hasan gharib dari hadits Abu Sa'id.

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
