حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ الْقَطَّانِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يُعْطَى الْمُؤْمِنُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ قُوَّةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا مِنْ الْجِمَاعِ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَوَ يُطِيقُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ يُعْطَى قُوَّةَ مِائَةٍوَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ عِمْرَانَ الْقَطَّانِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Basyar] dan [Mahmud bin Ghailan] keduanya berkata: telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Daud Ath Thayalisi] dari ['Imran Al Qattan] dari [Qatadah] dari [Anas] dari Nabi Shallallahu 'alaihi wa Salam beliau bersabda: "Orang beriman kelak di syurga diberi kekuatan bersetubuh seperti ini dan seperti ini, " ada yang bertanya: Wahai Rasulullah apakah mampu seperti itu? beliau menjawab: "Mereka diberi kekuatan jima' sampai seratus kali lipat." Dan dalam bab ini ada hadits dari Zaid bin Arqam, Abu Isa berkata: Hadits ini shahih gharib, kami tidak mengetahuinya dari hadits Qotadah dari Anas kecuali dari hadits Imran Al Qattan.

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
