حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْهَمَذَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ هَمَّامٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ حُوسِبَ عُذِّبَقَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin 'Ubaid Al Hamadani] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ali bin Abu Bakr] dari [Hammam] dari [Qatadah] dari [Anas] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam beliau bersabda: "Barang siapa yang dihisab maka ia akan diadzab." Abu Isa berkata; hadits ini adalah hadits gharib, kami tidak mengetahuinya dari hadits Qatadah dari Anas dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam kecuali dari sisi ini.

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
