حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَكَانَ عُمَيْرُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ يُصَلِّي كُلَّ يَوْمٍ أَلْفَ سَجْدَةٍ وَيُسَبِّحُ مِائَةَ أَلْفِ تَسْبِيحَةٍ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ali bin Hujr] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Maslamah bin 'Amru]? ia berkata; ['Umair bin Hani`] melakukan shalat setiap hari seribu sujud dan bertasbih seratus ribu tasbih.

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
