حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الْمُكْتِبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَدْرٍ شُجَاعُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ الرُّحَيْلِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ أَخِي زُهَيْرِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ الرَّقَاشِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا كَرَبَهُ أَمْرٌ قَالَ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Hatim Al Muktib] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Badr Syuja' bin Al Walid] dari [Ar Ruhail bin Mu'awiyah] saudara Zuhair bin Mu'awiyah, dari [Ar Raqasyi] dari [Anas bin Malik] ia berkata; Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam apabila mengalami kesusahan beliau berdoa: "YAA HAYYU, YAA QAYYUUM, BIRAHMATIKA ASTAGHIITSU." (Wahai Dzat yang Maha hidup, Wahai Dzat yang terus menerus mengurus makhluk-Nya, dengan rahmat-Mu aku meminta pertolongan."

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
