أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْخَلَاءَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْخُبْثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
English Translation
telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ahmad bin Abdah Adl Dlabbi Al Bashri] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammad bin Zaid] dari [Abdul Aziz bin Shuhaib] dari [Anas bin Malik] berkata; "Nabi Shallahu 'alaihi wa Sallam jika masuk ke dalam WC beliau mengucapkan: "ALLAHUMMA INNI A'UUDZU BIKA MINAL KHUBUTSI WAL KHABA`ITS (Ya Allah, aku berlindung kepada-Mu dari setan laki-laki dan perempuan)." Abu Isa berkata; "Ini adalah hadits hasan shahih."

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
