حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ رَمْيُ الْجِمَارِ وَالسَّعْيُ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ لِإِقَامَةِ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Nashr bin Ali Al Jahdlami] dan [Ali bin Khasyram] berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Isa bin Yunus] dari ['Ubaidullah bin Abu Ziyad] dari [Al Qasim bin Muhammad] dari ['Aisyah] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Sesungguhnya disyari'atkannya melempar jumrah dan sa'i dari Shafa ke Marwah untuk berdzikir kepada Allah." Abu 'Isa berkata; "Ini merupakan hadits hasan shahih."

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
