حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ أَخْبَرَنِي مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِأَنَّهُ كَانَ يُنْكِرُ الِاشْتِرَاطَ فِي الْحَجِّ وَيَقُولُ أَلَيْسَ حَسْبُكُمْ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ahmad bin Mani'], telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Al Mubarak] telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Ma'mar] dari [Az-Zuhri] dari [Salim] dari [bapaknya] bahwa dia mengingkari adanya pengucapan syarat dalam haji dan berkata; "Tidak cukupkah bagi kalian sunnah Nabi kalian." Abu 'Isa berkata; "Ini merupakan hadits hasan shahih."

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
