English Translation
Abu Isa berkata; "Hadits 'Ubadah bin As Shamit merupakan hadits hasan sahih."
About Jami' at-Tirmidhi
Born
209 AH / 824 CE — Tirmidh, Uzbekistan
Died
279 AH / 892 CE
Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
