حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ النَّمَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُدْرِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُجَيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَدْخُلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ صُورَةٌ وَلَا كَلْبٌ وَلَا جُنُبٌ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hafsh bin Umar An-Namari] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari [Ali bin Mudrik] dari [Abu Zur'ah bin 'Amru bin Jarir] dari [Abdullah bin Nujay] dari [Ayahnya] dari [Ali Bin Abi Thalib radliallahu 'anhu] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau bersabda: "Malaikat tidak akan memasuki rumah yang ada gambar, anjing, dan orang yang sedang junub."

Imam Abu Dawud compiled Sunan Abu Dawud from approximately 500,000 hadiths, selecting 5,274. His collection is particularly focused on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and legal rulings. He personally wrote to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal informing him of the work, and received his approval.
Abu Dawud said: 'I wrote 500,000 hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ, then selected this book from them.' He focused especially on rulings related to halal and haram.
