حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْأُدْرِجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ثَوْبٍ حِبَرَةٍ ثُمَّ أُخِّرَ عَنْهُ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ahmad bin Hanbal] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Walid bin Muslim], telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Auza'i], telah menceritakan kepada kami [Az Zuhri] dari [Al Qasim bin Muhammad], dari [Aisyah], ia berkata; Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam dikafani dengan hibarah (baju yang terbuat dari kapas di Yaman) kemudian ditunda dari penguburan beliau.

Imam Abu Dawud compiled Sunan Abu Dawud from approximately 500,000 hadiths, selecting 5,274. His collection is particularly focused on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and legal rulings. He personally wrote to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal informing him of the work, and received his approval.
Abu Dawud said: 'I wrote 500,000 hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ, then selected this book from them.' He focused especially on rulings related to halal and haram.
